It sounds like he is 14. I don’t know how old you are, but I’m going to guess you’re about the same age. And, it sounds like he does like you, but I don’t think you should tell him your feelings. The reason is that your confession may make you feel relieved, but it may also put pressure on him if he doesn’t feel the same way or isn’t sure how he feels, and that may make him back away — which I don’t think you want! If you show him your feelings, rather than having “a talk” where you tell him — by laughing at his jokes, complimenting him, and inviting him to play ball or join in conversations, he’ll get the picture without the pressure. 🙂
