It might help if you could say some more about the guy…I don’t feel like we know too much about him from your description. Is he kind of a cynic and a misanthrope, doesn’t get along well with a lot of people, and so forth? Is that why he didn’t get along with your friends? If that’s true, or if he’s always moody and irritable and that’s why you argue all the time, you might have step back and ask if this is really something you want to keep going. If that’s not the right portrayal at all, please make it known what is.
