hello, ive been seeing this girl for 1 month. she is chatty, funny but i feel there is a barrier there between us. We have been on 1/2 dozen date sand they have gone well. I ve met some of her friends already. We were both intorduced at a wedding. I have instigated all texts since then. We snog but have not got to the stage of holding hands, linking arm in arm etc. We talk for ages about stuff, work, friends, family etc. Im looking for advice as to what to do next as I cannot say as to whether this girl is shy, not interested, been hurt in a previous relaitonship before or what.

It sounds like this girl likes you, and you should step things up and take it to the next level. Try holding hands and linking arms as well as taking her out on real dates, just the two of you.

Don’t worry that you’re instigating the texts and she’s not. She’s waiting for you to show your interest, and after only 1 month, she’s not going to start texting you when she isn’t sure how you feel about her. So ask her out, and see if there’s any chemistry and compatibility!
