There is no insurance for relationship heartbreak — it comes with the territory, and while I don’t advocate taking risks with no upside, I really think that if you don’t try it, you’ll never know if the two of you are compatible or not. Usually, people spend the first three months dating deciding if they like each other enough to continue. After six months of dating, they decide if they want to be serious with each other. You just met this guy, and it doesn’t sound like you’ve even gone on date number one! My advice is to get to know him.
The second piece of advice is to work on your self esteem. If you think you’re not worthy of him, he will, too — eventually. Confidence is an aphrodisiac for men. It doesn’t cost a penny, and it’s worth a million bucks. 😉
