Does it have any significance if a female friend buys a guy cologne for xmas? Is it just a nice present or is there a personal meaning to it?

Cologne is usually a little more personal than chocolates, a book or mittens. Anything that can be applied directly to your body — like moisturizer, perfume, cologne, or body lotion — is sensual and therefore, more intimate than gifts you’d give a colleague at work or a neighbor.
