About 2 months ago my ex-girlfriend broke up with me after a 3 years relationship. I was devastated about it but I wasn’t planning of letting go. So i gave her the space and time she needed and eventually she started contacting me. Then, after a period of not seeing each other for about 3 weeks, I passed by her house and I could really tell from her body language that she missed me and maybe had feelings coming up again. It started with small touches like touching my arm and she also gave me a hug. Then she started talking about the break up. She said she was feeling sorry that it had to end like this but why give it another try if it’s certain that the relationship is destined for failure(-> i really belive that these are words from her friends). Then she gave me another hug, a really long hug and was crying a little meanwhile.
I came home that night and sent a text message in wich I told her that I have really changed and that I want to go for us. And she answered back: I know you’ve changed and thats why i’m feeling regrets but it’s to late, we can never be again. (btw: i didnt cheat on her or anything, she broke up because of my jealousy and being to “clingy” and also becoming a no-life)
Is this a lost cause? Because her body language didn’t lie, we had a relationship for 3 years so I really know her well. What should I do? Does she really mean what she says? If yes, can i “change her mind”?
