hey, so any and all help with this will be very appreciated. so here is the story. my moms friend had a girl that she wanted me to meet and since she sounded interesting i contacted my moms friend and started talking to her. I ended up finding her on facebook and we talked for a little bit, just basic stuff, (where she goes to school, what she is majoring in, pets, ect…) now i dont know what to do next. my only way of contacting her is through facebook, i dont wanna seem pushy, i was thinking about waiting a couple days and letting things happen and if after a couple days i dont hear from here, contact her again and find out if she would like to go out? is that totally lame to do over facebook? again thanks again for any advice.

You’re almost there!! Definitely contact her on Facebook, and send her a private message asking for her phone number. Don’t ask her out on Facebook on a public wall for everyone else to see. It’s a little too much exposure for both of you, and it will probably make at least one of you uncomfortable. Once you get her private phone number, by all means, call her there and ask her out.
