So here is the situation….I have been introduced to the dating scene after being out of it for over 15 years as I am recently separated/divorced. I meet someone online and had about a month courtship emails/texting/phone conversations before we finally met. The first date was pretty low key and I feel we hit it off and had a really good time. We spoke again that night, and 3 nights following our date. We spoke about a possible follow-up date on the 3rd night but since then our correspondence has dropped off considerably, we didn’t speak for one day, we texting briefly on one day…..I seem to be initiating all the contact at this point…..the issue is I like this woman and would love to meet her again, but I don’t want to be over the top and come across as desperate and needy by constantly text/email/phoning her……….do I lay low or keep up the contact?……our tentative second date is coming up, should I just hold off contacting her until the day before the date? Or should I assume that the interest has waned and move on?
