Strategy to meet this exchange student and maybe extend relationship?

I have met this girl from China online and right now she is in US doing exchange program and will be back to China in January. She is in NC and me in DC. She likes US and would like to find a job here but she understands with limited time she wont be able to get a job right now. I have chatted with her via text and phone for ~2 months now and will be meeting her in 2 weeks or so. When we chatted i did help her with her job hunting but also got to know more about her. The problem is time – we will be meeting in 2 weeks and she leaving in January. I feel if i want to extend this i have to get to some stage with her before she leaves and that leaves us with little time. So couple of questions:

1. I will be seeing her in 2 weeks – i will be there friday night and leave sunday – anything i can do with her entire day saturday? there some orchestra in the evening, we can see movies, or go to museum…
2. How can i find out if she’s interested afterwards so i can see her again? She is planning 2 trips before she leaves and i feel if the feeling is good maybe i will go on those trips to build more relationship…

any suggestions?

There are lots of great first dates you can take her on — the orchestra is a nice idea, so is an art museum, a zoo, a wine tasting seminar or lecture, a cooking class, a play — there are lots of great dates! As for your second question, you’re jumping the gun a little. See how the first date goes. You’ll know after that first date if there’s going to be a second date — or at least you should know, if you’re tuned in and she’s communicative! 🙂 Wait until the first date to see if there will be a second one, and if there is, at that time, you’ll have spent time with her and you’ll know her better so you can plan something that’s more likely to be specific to the two of you!
