It’s not a brush off — it’s an invitation with her hesitation because of your age difference. She’s saying that she finds you attractive for being so confident and is possibly interested (not bad for never having met in person!), but she isn’t sure you’ll follow through because lots of people your age are flakey.

If you want to take the next step, the ball’s in your court. Ask her for a phone number, and then if she gives it to you, call her and ask her out with a specific time and date. The age gap is only as broad as your experiential differences. My advice is to go for it. 😉
