It’s a bad idea for you to be friends with an ex-boyfriend — especially right after a break up. There’s no reason for you to stay connected with him, and lots of good reasons for you to move on and find Mr. Right. If he’s in your life, he’s going to be an obstacle to that search.

Breaking up is pretty simple. Just tell him this isn’t working out for you and you don’t want to see him any more.
