I’m not sure what you mean by a “title”. As far as I know, the only titles people have are Mr. and Mrs. when they get married. If you’re dating someone, you’re either dating them or you’re not, and you are dating him, so you don’t need a title. You already know you are dating him.

What I think you’re feeling is insecurity because he’s not promising you a future security. He’s being very clear with you that he’s enlisted in the army and may be deployed, and he’s introduced you to his friends, and they’re all players, which means there is a good chance he is, too. Trust your instincts! You don’t want to believe what they’re telling you right now — that you really like him, but that this is not a sure thing.

Many women who write me on this forum try to fool themselves into thinking that that what is right in front of them MUST be wrong because they want it to be other than it is. It’s VERY important for you to see things as they are and act accordingly. 😉 Know what you want in a relationship, and if this person isn’t going to give that to you or be that compatible boyfriend or husband, then you shouldn’t invest time and energy with him. 😉 If he is going to give you what you want in a relationship, continue dating him…. 🙂
