She is acting like she still has feelings for you, so I think there is a chance you can get her back, but you have to step up your game. If you’ve dated a single mother for three years, and have a relationship with her child, you have to decide if this is going to be permanent or not. If it’s not, then you have to move on, but if it is, you have to give her some kind of commitment.

She clearly wants you to be a step-father for her daughter or else she wouldn’t be including you in her daughter’s social life. But, I think she felt disrespected when you wouldn’t kiss her in front of your parents, because she allowed you to sleep over when her daughter was in the house and she felt you should do something in kind. She thought you weren’t taking the relationship as seriously as she was and that there wasn’t going to be the same level of commitment from you that she was showing.

So decide if you want her for good or not, and then show her — by declaring her yours.
