I think your answer lies in the reason he wanted to go from being a 20 year friend to a lover. That was the first change you noticed in what was a double decade status quo. So if you find out why he decided to pursue you sexually after all that time, you’ll have a better clue as to why he’s not talking to you now.

What you should understand is that this has everything to do with him and nothing to do with you. It’s something that is going on in his world that has nothing to do with you. This acting out is just a symptom of some other problem.
