From my personal experience, I can conclude that this guy would like to get to know you better. Most likely he just doesn’t know how to approach you, or he is afraid that you will reject him. Believe me, I’ve been in this guy’s shoes before. It’s very possible that he hasn’t had much dating experience, or he might think you’re a higher standard than the girls he’s dated. My advice is to ask him if he wants to get lunch sometime, or something like that. He will probably be shy or nervous around you until he gets to know you better, which may not happen if you leave it up to him.
