    Dear April
I am 22 years old and have never been in a serous relationship. I had one boyfriend in high school at the time I was 15 and all he wanted was sex. When I told him no our relationship ended. Ever since then I have not seen myself as a woman that men look at as pretty or desirable. I recently met a guy that works for a friend we see each other occasionally. I gave him a dog that I found and he would bring the dog over in the summer for me watch her when he was busy. The problem is he has a girlfriend. They have a twisted and toxic relationship; she cheats on him and is very disrespectful everyone even his best friend tells him she is not good for him. He sees it and I know it hurts him I think the problem is that it is his first serious relationship and she has him seeing himself as “I can’t get any one else”. Whenever I see him I can feel the connection when he looks at me he stairs into my eyes. I catch him staring at me and when I look he looks away like oops I didn’t just get caught. I had someone I know tell him that she knew someone that liked him and he said I know who it is and he had a big smile on his face. I didn’t have an instant connection with him, it grew over time. We can’t stop talking whether it is the future or the past and have a lot in common. I don’t know if he likes me. He makes me happy and when I/he leaves I miss him, and I can’t stop thinking of him I feel like we can have a future together. I’m hoping he feels the same way. April am I exaggerating or can it be true feelings and do you think he likes me? What should I do? What does a smile mean? Ultimately I know it’s his decision.

He has a girlfriend. End of story. 😳 He may like you, but not enough to break up with her and date you. My advice is to find someone who is available! You’ll be a lot happier. 😉
