What do you guys think about this scenario? Me and this guy who work in a different area than me were not a couple. Both of us have being interested in each other for a long time. On Tuesday I ask him for a kiss like we always do, he stated” That I don’t think that would be a cool idea, you see all this people watching us, I think we need to keep our relationship on the down low, I don’t think we should have everyone in our business, every time you come people always be watching us, I don’t want them in my business”. My response” should I stop coming to your department” his response was” No we just need to be careful”. When I ask him was he coming to dinner with me & some of my close friend this Friday, He stated “Yes”. And when I ask him did he want me to give him the address now or tomorrow, he stated “Tomorrow would be fine”. I felt like his was giving me the cold shoulder. A very close female friend of mine thinks he has someone else. I’m I over acting here?

You’re not overreacting. He’s definitely giving you the cold shoulder. But I’m confused. You’re not a couple, but you’re interested and you ask him for kisses at work? 😯 Unless you clarify that for me, I think he’s entirely right that you should dial down your personal expressions in the work place.

You should also read Think & Date Like A Man, that you can download here: https://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/think-and-date-like-a-man.html. From what you’ve written, I think you need guidance and advice on how to get and keep a man — which is EXACTLY why I wrote Think & Date Like A Man. If you read it and follow the advice in the book, you’ll have a much easier time of making sure you get the men you want without so much trouble (or failure! 😳 ).

I hope that helps. Let me know how it goes — and join me on AskApril.com on Facebook at this link: . 😀
