Dear April,

it just happened me and my frnds were talking what we do about the things and stuff we get from our ex’s. they all kept them… from msgs, emails, gifts everything!! they even kept things from years and years back

and ths is what i do… with time.. can take me 2 to 3 months.. i give everything away! my things i do smthng so i dont want to c them ever again… as for the letters and cards.. i rip them and throw them all!!
and my msgs and emails day by day as im over the person i delete them… 😕
right now im sinlge and 24 yrs old… i just have these memories of the things… and im not bothered or regret for getting rid of them all!!

this talk got me thinking 🙄 …is it healthy what i do? is it wrong? whats the right way? or is it just characters how every1 reacts to pain??

You’re doing everything right. 😀 There is no right and wrong when it comes to getting rid of remnants of an ex — if you delete and toss things over a period of three months or three years, it’s all fine.

Moving on isn’t a direct line between point A and point B. Everyone has their own process and their own time table.

I hope that helps. Please follow me @AskAprilcom (no dot!) on Twitter and on Facebook at this link: . 😀
