I met this guy about a year and a half or so ago. When we met he had a girlfriend and i had a boyfriend. As much as i hate to admit we cheated on our ‘significant others’ with each other. we always talked a lot and tried to hangout quite a bit. I got into a relationship with someone new and i did not speak to this guy at all during this relationship. This relationship ended and i recently got into contact with this guy again. We made plans to hangout and he came over and we just talked and watched t.v. and cuddled on the couch and kissed a lot. While at my house he came right out and told me he likes me and of course i told him i like him too (since i have for a long time just nothing ever came of it because of both of us being in other relationship). And he said that there is just something about the way that i look at him. We text on a daily basis and make plans to hangout again as soon as we both can. How can i tell if he wants a relationship out of this? How do i turn this into a relationship with this guy?

    Good question!

You have to steer clear of “hanging out” and becoming a friend with benefits. If he asks you out on a date, then you should accept and proceed as you would in a dating relationship where you get to know someone and see if they’re a good potential boyfriend (or long term relationship — or husband — whatever you’re looking for). Don’t agree to hang out. Don’t agree to be the object of “booty calls”. If you jump into bed too soon, you’re going to have cloudy judgment because sex changes things. You’re also not going to know if he’s interested in you as anything more than a sexual relationship on the side. 😕

Read Think & Date Like A Man, and follow the advice in it. You can buy the book for $8.99 on this link: https://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/think-and-date-like-a-man.html or on the sites for Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
