My ex and I were together almost 6 years and ended things back in February. We were absolutely miserable together and had been doing nothing but fighting for months. After a particularly bad argument, I came home to our apartment to find him completely moved out.
I was crushed and cried for about two weeks straight. He was really nasty when I’d call him and when I finally did see him a few weeks later, he was really cold and mean and said the only way we could be together was if I forgot about my family and went to live with him and his family. Of course I told him that wasn’t gonna happen.
Eventually I started dating again and it made the whole situation a lot easier to deal with. I’m happier, stronger and I realise that I’m so much better off without my ex. Problem is, he can’t seem to grasp that. He won’t stop calling, stopping by and bothering me to get back with him. He will beg and plead for hours. The other night he was crying and on the verge of a panic attack. I felt sorry for him but I don’t want to be with him and he just can’t take no for an answer.
I don’t know what to do. I do not want to be with him and I feel absolutely no attraction. At the same time I don’t want to be mean because I know he’s hurt and I don’t want to make him feel any worse. But this is stressing me out ans I just want him out of mu life.
