I asked my girlfriend to marry me. we are engaged! we have a 3 month old baby! i lied about the way i got the ring… she noticed, because she knows me too well that i have lied, she asked for the truth, and i tried to cover up the lie with another lie!!! she found out that i lied AGAIN.. she says that she lost alot of trust in me, i need to gain her forgiveness once again and try to win her over again because she doesnt want to be with a man who will be willing to lie to her. she sent me a last text saying to me, “now i wonder what other things have you lied to me..” I feel so horrible.. people say i need to let her cool down and let her be more calm. i need your expert advice april masini…

I lied in the first place in order to see how she will react with the whole idea of us being engaged and getting married. that is the reason why i lied in the first place.. i do not know why i lied the second time, of being scared maybe… i just need help to ya’know fix up things… i feel so helpless..

Without knowing the specifics of the lies, it seems like you can just do your best to not lie any more. It’s up to you to earn back her trust.

I don’t really understand your second post that said you lied to test her reaction to an engagement…. ❓ ❓
