Hi April..
Umm, I’m 16 year old girl and I really don’t date alot, so i really need advice.
I have this best friend and we are basically like twins. I love him alot… and sometimes its more than just friendly love. I really think I love him. (Side note: I’m not those girls who hang around a guy for a day and are like I LOVE HIM!) I’ve known him since 8th grade so it’s been about 4 years and we are practically family, even our families are practically family. And it turns out we used to live near each other when we were little and were friends at the playground but we both moved and forgot.. (our parents remembered each other) .. That was irrelevent but oh well.. Anyway, I really don’t know what to do.. Whenever we talk, which is like everyday, we talk about EVERYTHING and he always manages to say something to make me think he likes me and whenever we are together, its like we are the only people in the world.. like recently we were hanging out at his house on the swing and he just randomly said “Oh what would I do without you?”
but then he talks about his girlfriends and how hot they are and stuff.. so i really doubt it. I remember i had a boyfriend once and he flipped out because i didnt tell him (another example) but it turns out he was mad because he thought i was keeping secrets…I don’t know what to do!! I have no one else to ask because my mother proved to be NO HELP WHATSOEVER!! I’m so confused.. because i don’t understand why he would like me anyway… I’m not the smartest and definitely not the prettiest and i know that boys aren’t as thoughtful as women think they are, so I don’t believe it but really hope its true. I’ve thought about telling him but if i do and he doesn’t like me, i will ruin the friendship i have with him. Help… please..
