The man I’ve been with for 5 years calls to his ex wife 30-40 times a month they have two children 23-21.
Does anyone think this is a type of cheating?

Well, that seems a bit excessive calling to me personally. You did not mention any circumstances that may help to explain this although. Are both kids healthy, on their own, not in jail etc. If there are no major problems I would definitely say this is excessive phone calling and he may need to come to terms as to why he does this and explain this to you – honestly.

Thanks for your reply; the children are on their on they are 23 and 21. He says he is looking for his son who has a cell phone and lives on his own. We have been together for 5 years and this is still going on.

I don’t know if you could consider it cheating, but I definitely think its a little rediculous! It is one thing to keep a casual friendship with an ex. Especially when there are kids involved. Even if they are grown, they will still both be attending there weddings, college graduations, etc. and if would be much better for everyone if things are civil. That’s pretty much as far as it needs to go though, his kids are well past having to call mommy to see how they did on their Spanish test. I would feel hurt if my fiance spent that much time on the phone with an ex.. like shouldn’t he be doing all of this talking with me!!! I think you should put your foot down! Even some of my best friends and I only talk a few times a month!
