I’ve been with my boyfriend for 6 years and broke up for 2 years now, but we live together. I want a second chance with him but he tells me we have to work on ourself and see how it goes. Which I understand. We better much are like boyfriend girlfriend. But I want the title. I need to know with everything being said if I am just wasting my time or should I just leave and move on?

Wow, I don’t know if you had some major issues…but you have been together for 6-8 years? And he’s telling you that you have to work on yourselves first? Honey, don’t hold your breath. From a man’s perspective, (of course you don’t say much in your post) He’s thinking you aren’t the one, or you are the comfort zone for him.
