I met this guy back in July through a mutual friend, he was visiting my city.
He lives out of town. He was attracted to me and we became friends instantly.
He said he wanted to get to know me. He called me every day, three to four times a day.
He invited me to his home. He introduced me to his family.Treated me like a queen.
I thought we were progressing into something serious. He was very attentive, we would spend hours on the phone, chatting on online all day sometimes, he always sent gifts, and even send money when I had an emergency. I had every reason to believe that this guy was serious about me.
It is now December and lately he seemed distant. He hardly calls, If he does, he is short. If I call, then he doesn’t answer, when I email him, he does not respond. He is currently here in my city visiting a friend. I cant get him to come over without heavy persuasion. When he comes, he’s in a rush to leave. He’s been here for four weeks and I’ve seen him twice. He just doesn’t seem to care anymore.
I have asked him several times. What is the reason for the cold treatment. He said he is preoccupied looking for a job, plus he has family issues, it has nothing to do with me. I feel neglected, abandon and I truly feels that there is someone else. I overheard him on the phone, and I asked him if there’s someone else, but he won’t answer.
What should I do? I thought I could move on, but It hurts and why?
