I guess my main question would be, should I tell this girl I’m prepared to wait for her to get the “bad relationship” out of her system or just show an interest in her for the time being without coming on “too strong” but just enough to let her know I’m still on the scene and thinking about her?
My gut feeling is to not say anything along the lines that I’m going to wait for her as I feel this could put more pressure on her and also present myself in a negative way in the sense she may feel I have low self esteem if I’m waiting around for something that may not happen. As I’ve already said, I think there is nothing wrong with showing someone your willing to give them time but actions speak louder than words. But I’m no quitter and never have been I just believe if you walk away from a situation without putting in some effort you will never get anywhere in life.
Obviously I’m not a relationship expert and I may have this all wrong! So your advice is much appreciated.
