Personally, I dont think she would have gone into that much personal detail just to blow you off. I think if you are really interested, and really care about her, give her some time to get over all the stress going on in her life. Support her from a distance but dont pressure her. She seems interested but its just not a good time.

I see a lot of people have read your message but none have responded.

My advice: He is older than you. Its a good possibility that he is stuck in his ways and isnt going to change. You are either going to have to accept him for who he is or find someone new. I was married to a man like this. He was almost 7 years older than me but he acted like a child. I thought eventually he would grow up and stop acting like that. Sad to say…he is almost 40 and still acts like he is 12. Our 10 year old son is more mature.

There probably isnt anything you can say or do to change him.
