It’s a lot easier to get over someone with whom you [i]fought[/i] at your break up! Ironically when you have a peaceful break up that is mature and well thought out, getting over your ex can be a lot harder because you have fond memories of your time together. Those awful break up battles leave a bad taste in your mouth and no desire to see your ex. But you don’t have those.

Getting over an ex isn’t a trick. It takes time and it takes you keeping busy. I think you’re making excuses for not getting out there and meeting with other friends and socializing with other people. You have to make your social life a priority in order for it become one. It isn’t going to be easy, but it will work.
