It’s not so much a misunderstanding as it is a change of heart. 😳 People fall in and out of love and in and out of like all the time. Your friend isn’t interested in dating you. He wasn’t very graceful about telling you, but the bottom line is that he’s changed his mind about his feelings and what he wants from you.

I’m very sorry you feel hurt, but I want to tell you that rejection is actually a gift because it shows us who to bestow our attention on and who to avoid. If someone rejects you, there is no sense trying to make them like you. Instead, you can steer clear of him and attend to people who ARE interested in you! 😀

For now, I’d steer clear of him until you feel better about yourself and realize that there are lots of guys out there who will like you — and maybe already do! 🙂
