Hi April, I was married for 17 years. She cheated, etc. I was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction. I hate the bar scene, on-line dating is a joke, I live in a small town, and I am not religious. So what’s left for me? Hitting on cute cashiers, that probably hear the same lines everyday? I don’t like crowds, and I hate using pick up lines. So where do you think the best place for someone like me to met a quality woman such as yourself? Any advice would be appreciated.

Okay, you gave me the list of what you won’t do and what you don’t like…. what DO you do and what DO you like? 😉 In other words, where are places you usually go each day? Work? Coffee shop? Gym? Do you run on a particular route? Walk your dog in a particular park? Start with the places that are right under your nose. Chances are you haven’t really let people in those arenas know that you’re available and you find them attractive. Then, consider the type of woman you’re interested in meeting and where you’d find her. If you want someone fit, start hitting the gym — and yoga or pilates classes are going to be full of hot bodied women. If you want a single parent, check out the PTA meeting or the AYSO soccer bleachers for available women. I think you can see what you need to do in order to start meeting women.

Of course, if you need more help in this arena, feel free to buy and read the book I wrote for men who want to win with women, Date Out of Your League: https://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/date-out-of-your-league.html. I hope that all helps. Let me know how things go. 😀
