I’m not sure why you’re confused. 😕 Your friend is jealous — and that’s okay. It happens sometimes, and it’s good she was honest with you. All through life people will be jealous — sometimes it will be others, sometimes it will be you — there’s always someone who has more or better boyfriends, husbands, jobs, cars, more money, more education — but the truth is, there is enough of everything in the world to go around. So…..Now, you have to be honest with her, and tell her that you appreciate her honesty, and that you like him, and you’re looking forward to going out with him, and you hope that she can be happy for you! 😉 You didn’t steal someone’s boyfriend. You just won the date! 😉 This happens in life, and you have a great opportunity accept the discomfort and move through it. You can’t make everyone happy, but you can do the right thing, and that’s to go on the date, and be understanding, but honest with your friend.
