i was with this guy reece for about a year and we both falled head over heels for eachother basically, but things ended in a really sticky situation due to my mistakes and reece going through a rough patch himself also my family didn’t like him at all . Eventually we both moved on but we havent talked to eachother for a while. i have just started a new realtionship with a new guy kurt and my parents and family adore him , and the thing is i thought i was over reece but it wasnt untill about a week ago reece and one of my girl bestfriends came to my house and offered me to spend the day with them and so i did, but just spending the day with reece my feelings came rushing back just like i was with reece the like first time. and now i have no idea what are shoulddo with my realtionship with kurt, he such a great guy and i dont want to break his heart but my feelings for reece are so strong it unbelieveable. help??

Reece is not available to you. 😕 The two of you broke up and he’s moved on. You may have feelings for him, but they’re not being reciprocated. I never ever recommend being friends with men — especially men you used to date. And this is one of the reasons: one person usually has more feelings than the other person and things get complicated, confusing and disappointing.

If you hang around with your ex-boyfriend, you’re not going to feel single, and you’ll turn down opportunities to date other men, like Kurt, who are potential boyfriends and good relationship material because they’re compatible and available.
