So, a couple months ago I made a tinder and ended up matching with this guy in my class who I have a huge crush on. Of course, I got super excited thinking he’d message me, or at least mention it to me in class the next day. Nothing. I’m pretty sure he still has no idea that I’m one of the girls he matched with. Fast forward like a month and a half, and he, two other people in our class, and I are doing a group project together. Obviously, I was super happy he was in my group, because it finally gave me an excuse to talk to him. I even brought up tinder a couple of times… however, I never brought up the fact that he and I matched, I would just tell him about funny or weird encounters I’ve had with tinder people. I did this mostly because I wanted to jog his memory, and see if he’d remember that we matched. Overall, he’s a very reserved person, and sort of mysterious… like every time I’d talk to him, I found that I was always the one starting the conversation or asking him questions, etc… he would never really initiate anything. So, I guess this is my first question: does that mean he’s not interested, or he’s just shy?
Second question, our group project is over, which means I have no excuse to meet with him outside of class anymore. What should I do? I’m not even sure if we’re at the point where I can even call him a friend, and I still don’t know him that well, so I don’t want to scare him by asking him out right out of the blue, He seems like the kind of guy who only wants to hang out with the people he knows, sleep around, and not make new relationships, but I know that if I don’t ask him out I’ll just regret it forever. Please help! How should I go about this???
