Member #287,770I’ve been on a couple dates with a new guy and I’m starting to really like him, which is making go crazy with a bunch of anxiety about whether he’s serious about me or not. We met at Oktoberfest at the end of last month and exchanged phone numbers. Then a week later I texted him about meeting up but our schedules didn’t match. Then last Saturday we finally had time for a date. He’s from Italy and he has kind of an old fashioned “lady first” way of doing things. He suggested we go to a park in the afternoon and then asked what I wanted to eat and made dinner plans for us too. It was a really nice evening and he’s very physically attractive and polite and kind. At the end of the date when we said goodbye outside of the station we kissed, I kissed him first I think. I really wanted to take him home, but my place is a mess and he said his place is too messy too. I tried to look up a nearby hotel but his lady first policy kicked in and he didn’t want me to do that. He said instead how about next weekend he books a nice restaurant and a nice hotel for us. At this point the only thought in my head was “wow this guy’s a keeper.”
Over the next few days I texted him a few times about what I was doing. He responded but he never instigated the texting. Then he texted me to say that his boss is making him work this weekend so our original plan won’t work (I believe him, his work does sound quite busy). But he said instead why don’t we move the date up to tonight? I agreed and per his plan we had a nice dinner and then spent the night in a hotel. It didn’t feel like a hook up, and as you can probably tell I’m a naive girl so I’ve had my fair share of hookups. My impression was that we both have an attraction to each other and he’s always very courteous to me.
But he hasn’t texted since the hotel date last night. It makes me feel a bit weird. I don’t know if it’s still too early on in the game since it’s only been two dates, or if he’s just a person who doesn’t like texting? I don’t know what he wants and my mind is going in circles driving me crazy. I don’t want to seem to eager so I’ve held back from texting him even though I want to.

AskApril MasiniKeymasterImmediately…. buy Think & Date Like A Man ! This is the book I wrote for women who want to date well. You can buy it here: . You really need to read it because you’re making some very basic mistakes.https://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/think-and-date-like-a-man.html I can give you a little advice here, but before you write in again, I’d like you to read
Think & Date Like A Man !First of all, when you ask him out on the first date, you’ve robbed him of the opportunity, and you’ve robbed yourself of the opportunity to see if he likes you enough to ask you out!
😉 So never ask a guy out first.Next, stop texting him! If he is interested, he’ll get in touch with you.
As for sleeping with him on the first date, that’s a big mistake because it will leave you confused as to whether he’s just interested in sex, or a long-term, committed relationship. Since you did sleep with him, and he’s not calling, you can assume he’s not interested in either.
Buy and read the book, and remember to always let the guy make the first move — it will keep you from asking questions like these that make you crazy!
😉 I hope that helps.

Member #289,924He is not really serious with you because if he does, he will always touch with you even through text or call. But you never hear this guy after that night. So, too obvious that he is not interested with you. He’s done with you.
You did mistake, ‘let the guy ask you first’. Forget about him, you just wasted your time.
Stop texting him too.January 13, 2016 at 12:31 am #31674
