I met a guy online, and we always Skype and email each other, we are a match made in Heaven, I swear. He is the nicest guy on the planet. We both like all the same things and have even admitted to each other that we have feelings for each other. We want to meet each other someday, except there are a few problems, the most prominent being AGE. He is 17 (turning 18 in August), meanwhile I just turned 15. Of course, I never told him that. I told him I was the same age as he when we first met for the fear of him being a creeper (which he is not!). Now I’m afraid if I tell him how old I really am, he won’t like me anymore and find the situation weird and awkward. I feel really terrible about all this, but in all honesty, I have never met a guy quite like him. I can’t get him out of my mind and I feel so happy when I think about him. I don’t know how to handle this!
Also, less important, but I feel it is important to add that he is from Australia and I am from Canada.
Furthermore, some may say I am too young to understand this sort of thing, or that I shouldn’t bother because I’ll find someone else later, but I really feel this relationship is going somewhere. We both really care about each other, and I think love should have no age.
