I’ve been staying with my ex boyfriend who i was with for almost 6 yrs… i am pregnant but it is not his child, but i’m in a bind and have no where else to go. but i know he doesn’t really want me here but doesn’t have the heart to kick me out.. well he has this neighbor who is a woman and they seem extremely close, they text literally all day long and he is always going over there.. he keeps telling me that after the baby is born we can try to get back together but to “go with the flow”.. it bugs me that they talk so much and he is always running over to her house.. but when i asked him if they were together he got mad and starting screaming at me saying that a man and a woman can be friends without being together..he tells her all my business and when he introduced me to her kids he introduced me as his “house guest”, which offended me.. i don’t know if there is any hope for us to ever get back together… can two people be that close and not have feelings for each together romantically? But when I talk to another guy just as my friend he is constantly saying stuff about it, like he is jealous.. Should I just walk away?

You need to focus on your problem at hand — getting a home for yourself and your new baby, that is not this guy’s house. He’s clearly interested in his neighbor, and his introduction of you as his houseguest seems appropriate. You’re not dating, and you’re pregnant with someone else’s child, and he doesn’t want her to think the two of you are a couple. I know you’re disappointed, but don’t get involved or even start thinking about this guy right now. Instead, find a home where you can raise your child, that is either with family, a girlfriend, or the child’s father. You can also look for a women’s shelter if you need that kind of help.
