When is the time to move on? My boyfriend and I live together as a couple for some time now. 2 years into the relationship I asked him about marriage and he told me that he doesn’t believe in marriage and it’s just a piece of paper to him… I didn’t stress the issue. We have a 5 year anniversary coming up soon and Im ready to start the next chapter in the life. I’m ready to get married. I don’t want another 5 years to go by and were still in same status. However I don’t want him to marry me only because he felt pressured… I don’t understand what is he waiting on… Should I move on? Should I give him more time… I just don’t know…..

hes not waiting on anything..he told you how he feels about marriage..its up to you to decide if thats acceptable to you..

[b]specialgirl[/b] is right. He already told you he doesn’t want to get married. He’s not waiting for anything. 😕 [b]YOU’RE [/b]the one who’s waiting for something, not him. 😳 If you want to get married more than you want to be with him in this situation, then you absolutely have to move on.

I’m not sure how old you are, but if marriage is something you want, then when you start dating again, make sure you choose a man who wants the same things in life you do. Compatibility in these life goals is very important. 😉
