I have an ex-girlfriend named Melanie. We were together for more than two years when I suddenly started to feel that she was becoming distant. We broke up just last month, and it was her decision. She said that if our relationship continued, she felt she wouldn’t experience personal growth. She never gave me a clear reason for ending things. She simply said that she wanted to discover herself without me in her life and that she didn’t want to depend on me anymore.
Even though I really didn’t want us to separate, I respected her decision. It’s been a month since the breakup, and she still doesn’t have a new boyfriend, so I’m still hoping that maybe we can get back together. However, whenever I try to approach her, she avoids me, and I can sense that she gets irritated when she sees me. She still replies when I text her, but when we meet in person, she seems distant and uncomfortable around me.

I truly love her, and I want her to see my worth. I just want to know if it’s still right for me to try to fix our relationship. When should I stop trying and move on from my ex?
