i’m shy and have been talking to this guy in a chat room for 4 months at first he would just leave me 1 message a day then he started coming on talking to me for like an hour or more after a monthof talking and then he started saying that he thought i was beautiful as he can see my picture and i can see him i said thanks and he said he thought i was amazing i said i liked him to which i do so he kept talking me him doing more flirting than me though he said he was blushing as he wrote it, but then i told him about 6 weeks ago that i liked him, liked him and he said he liked me to but 2 weeks later he started acting different first he took ages one night to come on to talk to me and i asked him because i knew he was talking to someone else why he ignored me he said he didnt then the next week he would only come on for an hour then go off saying he was tried from work he does have a demanding job which i said i understood but then he stared coming on and in the middle of a conversation just going off he said the next day he feel alseep or his computer had froze but he done this on me and left me for three days before he wrote back and i was angry i said i didnt want to talk to him anymore, anyway we talked he give me his cell number and said sorry but then the following week he said he would be working and wouldnt be on the caht room all weekend on sunday though i noticted his name showing up so i wrote to him asking why he lied to me he never answered me so 4 days later i phoned him didnt want to seem like a nagging girl so i said i was sorry and could i add him to my facebook as my cousins friends kid deleted him from my chat room covo, he said yeah sure talk to you later that was 4 days ago i just dont understand why hes doing this as i’ve stared to have feelings for him, he use to say he loved talking to me as i made him happy so i’m really confused and want to know what you think i should do

Unfortunately, just because you like him doesn’t mean he likes you. He may have started out liking you, but now, he’s not interested. That’s why he’s acting the way he is — to send you the message that he doesn’t like you as much as you like him, and that if he did at first, his feelings have changed. 🙁

Don’t chase him — he’s made his position clear. Instead, accept the rejection as a gift. Knowing he’s not interested means you don’t have to waste your time on him and you can use your time to find a man who DOES want to talk to you on line, on the phone — and in person!
