Its amazing what a phone call can do – while I was away she was promoted and is working 65 hrs a week. So now that she is a real executive time is limited ( we both graduated college together a year ago) – we are both very competitive people and as I mentioned I am a alpha dude and she has been on the fast track with her co.
I thought id share what I said
” I F***ing miss u – I REALLY f***ing miss you ”
Odd to most as that is hardly romantic but we have a very special relationship and mushy to both of us is a real turn OFF.
Per your advice – I reached out .. but not to far I think it will work out but with limited time on both our ends we may be dragging out special situation forever !
