I have tried that and she says I’m just pushing her away, when I try to do something nice and sweet for her she lashes out at me and becomes mean and hurtful

We are both 30, we have been dating 6 months, but been close friends for 12 years, and both been in love with each other pretty much since we met 12 years ago…
