She was always smiling in my presence and shyly looking at me and breaking eye contact, giving intense stares once in awhile, doing things like arching her back and sticking her bum out and peaking over at me (I assume to see if I was looking), getting jealous when other girls flirted. She seemed fairly shy, but not too shy to put on a bit of a display with her body language or give long looks.

So I asked for her number and she asked me to give mine to her instead. Needless to say she never called or texted, and it has been about a month. Why would a girl give all those signs, and not only insist that I gave her [i]my[/i] number when I asked for hers, but never even call? I don’t go to the same university anymore so I can’t imagine it being a hard-to-get game, since I never see her now.

Oh, and we’re both late 20s, and she most definitely isn’t a partgirl, she keeps to herself so calling her an attention ***** would be an unfair label. I’m fairly social, but not into partying and drinking.

She may have found someone else to date between the time you gave her your number and now. She may have lost your number. She may have been flirting without wanting to date. It could have been any of those Bottom line, she’s not interested. 🙁 You sound like you have a lot going for you. Find someone to date who’s more interested in you than she is. 😉
