What does it mean,exactly, when a guy (29 and divorced) has been seeing me for about a month–gushes over how wonderful and amazing I am, does sweet little things like clean frost off of my windshield for me, and leave sweet little notes on my car for me to find when I get off of work, and spends almost the entire weekend with me at my home, (and also takes me out on dates) We’ve also been having sex….and then, he turns around and says things like “I want to build this friendship further, and when we really start opening up to each other we can let things go where they may and things could be wonderful.”

I feel like he is giving me kind of mixed signals. Or could he be using me for sex, or something? A little bit of advice would be fantastic 🙂

How long has he been divorced?

Well, They separated about 2 and a half years ago–but I think the divorced was finalized fairly recently.

Well, I havent asked him straight-out….but what I’ve gathered through conversation is that he was married for 6 years–separated for about 2, and I believe the divorce was finalized fairly recently….perhaps 4 months?

Yes, you’re probably being used. 😳 If he’s married, he’s not going to be interested in marrying you — because he can’t! Hence the friendship comments. And if he’s newly divorced, he’s not going to be interested in getting married or getting into a serious relationship. He’ll want to test the waters.

It’s very important to find out if a man is actually single before you date him. Do your homework! 😉
