I met a guy during an outing, and we started talking. Eventually, he began courting me. Things were going well between us, and we were happy, especially whenever we had phone calls because we rarely saw each other in person, even though we lived relatively close to one another.
He was a sweet person and was kind to his family as well. However, he loved drinking alcohol and would often drink with his friends almost every day. They were also fond of vaping. One day, while we were on a call, I noticed that he seemed to be holding a cigarette instead of a vape. When I asked him about it, he denied it, even though his friends told me that he really did smoke cigarettes. Because I loved him, I chose to believe him.
Whenever we argued, he would not try to fix our misunderstandings. Instead, he would block me and go to sleep. He blocked me five times in total. The next day, he would apologize and say that he had only said and done those things because he was drunk. As for me, I kept giving him chance after chance because I believed he would change.
Then one day, even though everything seemed fine between us, he suddenly told me that he no longer wanted to continue our relationship. He said he was simply tired of it. According to him, he had grown exhausted for reasons he could not even explain. He apologized, but he insisted that he no longer wanted us to be together. I did not reply to his message and decided to ghost him instead.
Two days later, I found out that he already had someone new.
