Call me Lady Rose, I’m 29 years old and my boyfriend Robert is 31. We’ve been in a relationship for six years and for four of those years, we’ve been living together. At the beginning of our life together, everything was fine, he was sweet, thoughtful and he would always pick me up from work. But recently, I’ve noticed that he seems to be growing distant from me.
There are times when he doesn’t pick me up from work anymore because he already has plans with his friends, and he tells me in advance to just go home alone because he’ll be out late partying with them. I talked to him and told him that I feel like our relationship is becoming cold, but he said I’m just overthinking. He says he just wants to enjoy himself sometimes while we don’t have children yet.
I let it go and didn’t push my point anymore, but deep inside I feel that something has changed between us, especially in how he treats me. I feel like he no longer has time to bond with me. Should I be worried about his actions?
How do I know if my relationship is failing?
