We all want things — to be President of the United States, Miss America, married to George Clooney, taller, blonder, happier — but it doesn’t mean we can have them. You may want your ex-boyfriend back, but he doesn’t want you. I’m sorry to be blunt, but you’re not hearing him, so maybe you’ll hear me. It takes two people to make a relationship work, but only one to end it.

Instead, treat the rejection like a gift instead of a booby prize. I know it hurts to be rejected, but the bigger picture will let you see that you’re being steered away from a man who isn’t interested so you can spend your energy on those who are! It’s time for you to cast your gaze elsewhere and find a man who wants you and who can offer you a lot more than this guy can — which right now, is nothing. 😳
