Member #372,161Hi April, I have been in a relationship with this beautiful lady for 4 months now, things are however taking a different turn. i have taken her out in the animal park and that was the day i spent most time with her. When i invite her to my place she will be hesitant and finally come but for a short time and insists on going back. Four times now with the same habit and the last time she came at 9pm and insisted on leaving, she actually opened the gate for herself and stormed off in the dangerous night and never looked back. It was her birthday the following day and i refrained from giving her the gift i had bought for her, however i called to confirm if she got home safe and subsequently sent her a birthday text. I was not happy with her action and suspected some foul play. she had made me to understand that she stayed with her cousin. This was last week. In between the week there was no communication except her asking me what happened to her gift. Mid week i couldn’t stand seeing her online and when i reached out she said she wasn’t fine and was thinking of moving out of her cousins house after insults. I offered her my place of which she accepted and when i went to pick her after job she suddenly changed her mind and started accusing me of the happenings of her birthday night. I felt stupid and pranked and was honest to let her know that in text when i got home. I became more curious and launched my investigation through her friends, and gauging her actions. The results are bit heartbreaking but i still want to get it from her mouth. The friend told me that she is staying with a boyfriend who doesn’t want her, i suspect this to be true coz sometime back she went silent on me for a whole weekend even blocking me on whatsapp and with my resilience she told me that she was insulted by her ex and even sent me photos, i went to see her but she coulnt allow me to get into the house claiming that her cousin was with the boyfriend. and so i offered to take her to hospital the following day and also report the mater to the police but she was not keen with that so i backed up. Valentine came and i had a gift for her but when i asked her what plans she had it seemed her day was parked up with a morning church session and afternoon family meetup. I showed up in church but she was not there ,told me she was in town and when i asked if we could do lunch she rejected the offer. With all this and many more i have not mentioned i try to get her off my mind but it never goes. I have real love feeling for her. I want to move a head but its difficult for me, i work alone in my office with no one to talk to all day and when i get home the loneliness continues. How do i get over this
coz its affecrting my work. i keep thinking about her. and the worst is that we are in the same social watsup group which i see her posts every other time i get a notification from the chat group. Heeeeeelp.February 16, 2015 at 7:41 am #27229colocandrey

AskApril MasiniKeymasterIt sounds like she’s not that interested in you. 😕 I know you’d like things to work out between the two of you, but rather and try to force something that isn’t working out, naturally, why not just move on and give yourself the opportunity to meet someone who is genuinely interested in you!?😉 It sounds like you have solitary work and are lonely. My advice is to go out and meet new people. Smile and flirt. Don’t have lunch at your desk — go to the park, or the gym or eat lunch where there are others eating alone as well, and talk to them. Plan something interesting for every night of the week, so you give yourself the opportunities to meet new women, and of course, get out during the weekend. Take a class, go for a run or a walk, meet up with other single friends and let them know you’re single and looking, and do the same with family. There are lots of ways to meet women, but you have to put in the sweat equity!
🙂 I hope that helps.
