antjones21Member #373,789I’ve been dating my girlfriend for 4 months now, everything has been great despite a messy situation that she just came out of. When we met she was living with her ex in a house they purchased together. They were broken up and living in separate rooms. At first we only saw each other on the weekends and we had sex both nights. We then were seeing each other 4 nights a week and probably having sex 3 out of the 4 nights. She moved into a new place two weeks ago and the house will be officially sold next week. The last 6 weeks the sex has died down a bit and when I mentioned something about a month ago she said she was stressed from all the stuff with the house and lawyers etc. Then we tried to have sex one night and she couldn’t get wet which caused me to not get an erection. The next day she told me she felt pressure to have sex every night we are together. After that talk everything was fine but now we haven’t had sex since May 2nd and I made a joke today about her wearing some panties I bought her. and said no and that she’s not ready for sex yet, she is on her period til about tomorrow. Then we got into a long convo and she kept saying she knows I want sex a lot and she feels like she’s not meeting my needs and when i joke and bring up sex all the time it makes her anxious and she feels pressure.

It’s only been four months of dating, and if you like her enough to get through this transitional period where she’s breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, separating from him physically, and selling the house they shared — which is definitely enough to give anyone the type of stress that would affect their sex drives — then slow down and make the relationship more about romance, for now, and the sex will follow. 😉 May 13, 2016 at 10:49 am #34200
