My boyfriend and I work in the same bulding as well as his ex girl friend. Him and I met here and we’ve been dating for 6 months, he left her for me. he is very controling and jealous, but he is sweet and he tells me he loves me and that he is changing the way he is because of me. it’s true he is changing because he says he does’t want to loose me. however, at work he doesn’t talk to me because he is afraid that his ex will see him talking to me. i feel very uncomfortable with this, he tells me that is because he was very bad to her and feels guilty that he is happy with me and she is sad because she still loves him. he says that he doesn’t want to humiliate her. so at work is just hi and bye. please help me. i don’t know what to do anymore.

It sounds like he’s still committed to her more fully than he is to you! 😳 A boyfriend who puts you first would care about your feelings way ahead of his ex’s feelings. That he still cares so much about her and is putting you second is a sign that this isn’t a good relationship for you.

My advice is to find someone else to date who is willing and able to put you first and foremost and put your relationship with him first and foremost!
