Should I tell my boyfriend I cheated when we were in highschool? We started dating my freshman year of highschool I kissed two guys gave one of them a HJ and then continued to flirt with him for about a year the first year that I was dating him. Throughout high school I chalked it up as being a immature kid. I’m 19 now and have severe anxiety and depression. My mom says not to tell because I was too young to know real commitment and I’ve been to therapy and my therapist says it’s just an obsession right now and with time I will learn to forgive myself. I just need further advice, please help me.

I agree with your mom and your therapist. But perhaps for a different reason.

If you want the relationship with your boyfriend to continue, you should probably let this go. If you do tell him, he will probably break up with you. If you’d rather be super honest and know that in doing so, this late in the game, your confession will end the relationship, then proceed, but be forewarned. If you can see this as a “little white lie” that’s part of your past, then let it go and move forward.
